What's the difference between a group and a team?
Use a group for the whole community, and teams for the sides in a match.
How it works
A group is the whole community: one club, one squad, or one regular kick-about. Chat, members, matches, and settings all belong to the group. Create your first group.
A team is a named side inside that group, such as Reds and Blues, or Team A and Team B. Every match is played between two teams from the same group. Create another team.
Teams do not exist on their own. If you run two separate communities, create two groups. "Reds" in one group is not "Reds" in another.
Putting players onto home and away for one fixture is picking teams for a match, not creating a new team.
